cure yeast infection My friend did some research and found out she had a yeast infection. She’s to ashamed to go to the doctor but,she would like to know how can sure cure it without prescription or over-the-counter medicines. So does any one have any home remedies she could use?
Put yogurt there. Like the natural kind without any sugar at least once a day but preferably two. Make a warm salt bath water and sit in it for a while. Make sure she gets a lot of fresh air up there so no tight pants(and no synthetic fabrics. cotton is best) and limit sugar from diet completely. Yeast loves that sugar!

cure yeast infection How long does it take for fluconazole orally 150mg tablet to cure a yeast infection? I took the one time only pill, the dosage one week ago – on Wed Jan 16. And I think my yeast infection is gone, but I’m not sure exactly…I never had a yeast infection before (I’m 21 years old) so I don’t know.
And also how long will it be until I can have sex again with my boyfriend? Thank you.
about 3 to 5 days….you should be good to go

yeast infection I’m 18 and i’ve been taking tri-cyclen lo birth control for about 4 months. I frequently have yeast infections and i never know if i could be passing the infection to my boyfriend. We don’t use a condom but he pulls out. So if i have a yeast infection can it be passed to my boyfriend. How would he know if he had a yeast infection? What would be the symptoms for a male yeast infection? How do we both get rid of completely and prevent it from happening?
Yes, guys can get yeast infections. He would start feeling itching and tenderness in the skin where the yeast cells were digging into the skin.
However – guys have a much easier time keeping things clean and dry so its a lot less common for guys to get yeast and easier to treat. (Heck – he can spray himself with athletes foot powder or spray to fix it.)
In general yeast grows where moisture is. Keeping the hairs trimmed so moisture does not have a place to hide, wearing pantie liners to wick away moisture helps, not wearing underwear or wearing ‘boy boxers’ at night to let air circulate down there can help.
But – taking anti-biotics, over-washing the area and some problems like diabetes removes your natural yeast-fighting discharge. If the problem is chronic – you might want to see a doctor.

yeast infection Can a male get a yeast infection? What r the signs/symptoms? Is there anyhting that will happen to ur balls
Do u get little dots that are itchy on your scrotum if you have a yeast infection?
My genitals and butt dont smell
Yes men can get yeast infections. You can get a bad smell down there and they can be very painful, especially during intercourse. nothing should have to you testicles. However, you’re going to want to see your pcp to get on some meds to clear it up. This won’t clear up on it’s own, generally.

yeast infection treatment I am 29 weeks pregnant..and I keep trying to get an appt to see my doctor for a yeast infection but they keep telling me to call back the next day..its been a week now and this is driving me insane! Its getting worse..Is it not safe to use the over the counter kind? Is there really a difference between that and the prescription kind??
I was told by my OB that it was fine to use Monistat and other over the counter treatments for yeast infections. There is no harm! I would run to walgreens and get some!!

yeast infection treatment i think i have a yeast infection because i have been itching and my discharge has an odor that almost smells like beer.. i am not totally sure but I was just wondering if it was bad to use an over the counter cream or medication if you werent totally sure it is a yeast infection. I have been taking an antibiotic for my acne for a while now and i think that may be what has caused it also i have been outside alot in the heat so that could also be a factor.
My gyno says they work great and reccommends them (and they do, I have used many times) but you have to know its def a yeast infection. There are a couple other infections that are not yeast and you have to get a prescription from your doc so it’s best to make an appt or at least just call to be 100% sure.

cure yeast infection I just recently got a yeast infection when my husband took some antibotics and I am looking to find a natural cure for it for both of us.
The symptoms (you may not experience all of them):
- white cottage cheese-like discharge
- some odor
- dryness (can cause bleeding)
- digestive problems
- itchiness
- burning urination
- painful intercourse
- a feeling of just not being "normal"
Here are some safe, natural cures you can implement.
- avoid scented soaps
- avoid sugars and complex carbs for a week
- air out the infected area while you’re sleeping at night
- add grapefruit extract to your water during the day (balances hormones)
- eat probiotics like cottage cheese and yogurt
- shower frequently
-drink lots of water and eat plenty of fiber to flush the infection

yeast infection i think tampons may have given me a yeast infection. it’s been treated and the symptoms seem to have went away this past wednesday night.
when can i start using tampons again?
my next period should be in a few days to a week.
right away, but you might want to wait a few days because you are still sensitive up there, you might still be a little swollen.
but if you think that the tampon was the cause of the yeast infection you dont want to continue to use them,
you can be having an allergic reaction to the tampon ( the fabric thats used to make tampons)
but also you can get a yeast infection from wearing tight pants, wearing a thong, eating to much yeast, leaving discharge on your panties, or even from taking antibiotics.

yeast infection I’ve tried monistat 3 times now and I cannot shake a yeast infection. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with it and she prescribed me a pill. I’ve taken the pill before and it did not work. I am not spending 70 bucks on a stupid pill that doesn’t even work. Are there any home remedies that I can try?
Here are listed a couple of the home remedies for yeast infection:
· Regularly daubing apple cider vinegar in the areas prone to this infection. Your can add some garlic to stop the itchy feeling; and water to dilute the vinegar concentration
· Curds or yogurt is regarded as one of the best home remedies. In fact, it is advisable to soak a tampon into curds and place it in the infected region for at least an hour. Basically, the healthy required bacteria from the curds will replace the unhealthy yeast bacteria. This could be repeated twice to thrice a day.
· Drink at least two glasses of buttermilk a-day, whether infected or not. In fact making curds a part of the daily diet in take reduces the probability of yeast infection.
· Mixture of olive leaf extract with grapefruit seed extraction a glass of water is a good curative tonic for this infection.
