yeast infection I’m 16, and am pretty sure I have a yeast infection. I don’t live with my mom, and I don’t want to tell my dad to go buy anything and I can’t drive. I think it’d be weird to tell anyone to go buy anything for it.. So what could I do to cure this or if you have to buy something what do you get for it? Help please. I don’t want it to get worse.
I understand not wanting to talk to your dad about this but since it is a normal thing that can happen to all women, you shouldn’t feel shy about it. You can pick up an over the counter treatment at Walgreens or such, I have heard that drinking a lot of cranberry juice can help flush it out. Another thing I heard of is inserting plain yogurt in the vagina, theory being that the yeast cultures in the yogurt will kill off the yeast in the vagina. It wasn’t easy getting in there first of all, keeping it there, so I didn’t have much luck. Here is an article that I ran across that might be beneficial for you. It has a lot of good advice like not wearing tight clothes, cotton underwear, and keeping a healthy diet and such. Give it a glance over and reconsider approaching your dad.

yeast infection treatment just started 7 days treatment last night and all day today ive have yellow and green looking discharge…i dont if it normal or something else, this is my first yeast infection and i am 13 weeks pregnant….the discharge is green and yellow…and is coming out of me like as in a period type of flow and real chunky but flowy (TMI i know )
I had a yeast infection but never green or yellow stuff. Also I only had to take one oral pill to get rid of it (maybe you can cuz you are pregnant)…..O WAIT are you using monostat or another ovul insert…I used that once too lol it leaks out so they say to wear panty liners it could look creamy and yellowish but idk bout green. You should talk to a doctor if anything. wear cotton undies and loos fitting clothing, they are more common when you are pregnant 
also my doctor informed me that if I ever got one again to do monostat 7day because only the 7day one works (what she said) so you should be good

cure yeast infection This is my first yeast infection. I just got off antibiotics, and thus, I have a yeast infection. How fast does it take to heal with over the counters? Also, after four hours of taking the medication, I went pee and most of it came out, now what?
Unfortunately, acquiring a yeast infection while taking or just finishing a course of antibiotics is common. Antibiotics kill all bacteria, including the good ones that inhabit the vagina.
A three day course of anti-fungal (ie monostat 3 ovule kit and cream) will require about a week.
Finally, can you explain what you mean by "…I went pee and most of it came out…" What do you mean by ‘it’. A yeast infection is not a single, solid blob, even if parts of it look pretty ‘chunky’ (sorry to be gross here)

yeast infection I am on the 10th week of pregnancy and I have a vaginal yeast infection. My doctor has prescribed me metronidazole and miconazole nitrate. I read about the metronidazole and found out that it PROBABLY can be harmfull (birth defects). So, now I would like to know how harmfull can be the yeast infection if I do not treat it during the pregnancy. Or may be the is a way to treat it with something save?
When doctors decide on what medicine to give you, they weight the pro’s and con’s of the medicine. Also when you say that is can be harmful this means that they did a test and most likely 1 out of 400,000 babies had something wrong when they were born, even if it had nothing to do with the medicine they still have to put that caution on there. If you don’t treat it your going to be in pain and i don’t recommend doing that. Talk to your doctor but again he knows your pregnant and if he thought it would hurt the baby he wouldn’t give it to you in the first place. Good Luck!

yeast infection treatment how true is it that eating natural yourgot and inserting some of it would be good to clear up a yeast infection?
This is true if its the live culture yogurt. You can also do a hydrogen peroxide douche. And tons of people will say Im crazy for suggesting that, but hydrogen peroxide is gentle, its purified water, it kills yeast, and I have done it myself. 3 day monistat will work too.

Coconut oil is supposed to be a good rememdy for candida. You can now buy virgin coconut oil in the supplement section of you local health store. Don’t buy the cooking type – it’s not as pure and doesn’t have the same benefit.

yeast infection I’m not sure if I have a yeast infection or not I do have some itching and white vaginal discharge but I don’t know if it could be something else. Should I be precautious and just use the medicine?
Will it cause something else to happen to me if I don’t have one?

yeast infection treatment I am on cycle day 12 and I have a yeast infection (stupid thongs!). I am not sure which over the counter med to get. I have used the three day before but I am wondering if anyone has had success with the one day treatment? I usually ovulate day 14 or 16 so I am trying to clear this up before then. Any advice appreciated. Thanks!
(I am sure it is a yeast infection, I have had two before from antibiotic use.)

Ditch the thongs, they rub back and forth more than regular panties and help transmit bacteria and such from your anus forward toward your vagina making it easier for you to get yeast infections.
I’ve had success from the 1-pill treatment but you will also want to get your guy checked out too. They can be asymptomatic carriers of yeast infections (as well as other infections) so he needs to be ‘clean’ before you let him um… dip his wick again. Otherwise he’ll just reinfect you over and over and that can cause fertility problems.
If I were you I would not try to conceive this month and if you have sex make sure to use a condom until he gets the all-clear from the Doctor. Good luck and may you hear the pitter patter of little feet soon!

no it most likely wont go away on its own. It will get worse and worse. You could go to walmart wallgreens? and get some monistat 7, and or aveeno baths ease alot of pain. Just talk to your mom about it. you really dont have to go to the drs if you buy monistat 7, but you may have to tell your mom whats going on.
