you need to get monistat. not vagisil. monistat is used to treat yeast infections. if it doesnt go away, you need to go to the doctor. he can give you a script that would make it go away in a day or two.

Sometimes you can treat a yeast infection with over the counter meds that look like wax eggs. They actually contain an antifungal medicine that is released over time. They are alot smaller that real eggs. Maybe just a little but bigger than a jelly bean. And you insert it yourself at home. It’s really not that uncomfortable. Just like you would insert a tampon. Yeah, that’s pretty nasty to put food stuff up there… I wouldn’t want to try it myself.

There are actually a few things that can help. First and foremost, get a good probiotic complex… and if you’re lactose intolerant, look for one that says "dairy free" (or you can verify is dairy free… some have small amounts of milk) to be on the safe side. Also, You should try to get some Caprylic Acid (typically from Coconut Oil… I don’t think there’s any gluten in Coconuts, is there?) to help attack the yeast and some Grapefruit Seed Extract to help cleanse it from your system.

Those three are going to help attack the yeast nicely, but even after it’s gone, I would suggest to keep taking a probiotic daily (or at least a few times a week if you aren’t able to take one daily for any reason) to help prevent the yeast from building up enough again.
I would really recommend against using antibiotics for a yeast infection, too. Antibiotics may help to quickly attack the yeast, but it will also kill off the beneficial bacteria that helps to keep yeast at bay, so the yeast would easily come back shortly after in many cases. Along those same lines, after you take an antibiotic, make sure you take a probiotic to help replenish those organisms so you don’t have to worry about getting yeast buildups afterward. Good luck!

If you’ve only done the first treatment so far, you might still have symptoms. They should go away after the second treatment. However, if they don’t go away after the third, there’s a chance that you have a resistant strain of yeast, and you should try another type of anti-fungal treatment. The active ingredient in Monostat is miconazole nitrate…so after you’ve finished this current treatment, and it doesn’t feel better, buy an anti-fungal with a different active ingredient. Good Luck
