Green and Yellowish Discharge & Yeast Infection Treatment?
Posted by admin under yeast infection treatmentjust started 7 days treatment last night and all day today ive have yellow and green looking discharge…i dont if it normal or something else, this is my first yeast infection and i am 13 weeks pregnant….the discharge is green and yellow…and is coming out of me like as in a period type of flow and real chunky but flowy (TMI i know )
I had a yeast infection but never green or yellow stuff. Also I only had to take one oral pill to get rid of it (maybe you can cuz you are pregnant)…..O WAIT are you using monostat or another ovul insert…I used that once too lol it leaks out so they say to wear panty liners it could look creamy and yellowish but idk bout green. You should talk to a doctor if anything. wear cotton undies and loos fitting clothing, they are more common when you are pregnant ![]()
also my doctor informed me that if I ever got one again to do monostat 7day because only the 7day one works (what she said) so you should be good
what is your question?

It sounds like since you just started it’s your body pushing the yucky stuff out. Keep up with the treatment because when you’re preggo you’re more likely to get yeast infections. I only get yeast infections when I’m pregnant. But it does sound like it is getting better. JUst make sure to do the full seven days. Good luck with the baby.

Mommy of 2, 3rd on the way
That’s totally normal
Gross, but normal lol I had the same problem during my pregnancy. Everyone talked about white chunky discharge with the yeastie beasties, but green and yellow are also common. It’s probably "flowing" out because of the medicine. I took the pill for it, but I was further along. Good luck! hope it clears up soon for you!

for your first yeast infection you are usually encouraged to got to a doc to confirm that it is in fact a yeast infection… once you know what they feel like you generally can recognize them… i tend go by how itchy i feel to determine a yeast infection, if you are all itchy that should start feeling better pretty quickly… i usually use a 3 day/night treatment and am feeling better after second treatment, not sure how quickly you get relief with a 7 day
I’ve noticed a yellow discharge from myself never green, you certainly can call your OB, and i would definitely recommend it if you aren’t getting better int he next couple days

I don’t want to scare you but I also had problems with yeast infections while I was pregnant with my son. I also had a weird yeast infection in which I got a green and yellow discharge. It turned out that I had an infection in my uterus that was not detected, and I ended up having my son at 27 weeks. He was a pound and a half and he was in the NICU for two and a half months. My advice to you would be to go to your doctor IMMEDIATELY and get yourself checked out! You can never be too careful, and in my case I wish I hadn’t blown it off as nothing. Hope that helps! I really don’t mean to scare you I just have been there!

some time the 7 day treatment works but it is better that you go to your doctor where they can do culture and give you a perscription strength medicine that will not harm yor child inside so be careful what you use during your pregnancy.
