Sore during intercourse after yeast infection treatment?

Hello. I was recently treated for yeast infection a week ago. My symptoms have gone away and I feel completely normal, however, when I have intercourse with my boyfriend my vagina has a sore feeling to it..It feels sore during penetration and sometimes the soreness will go away during intercourse. Has anyone else experienced this after being treated for yeast infection? Could it be the infection hasn’t completely cleared?
And I am did Rx for fluconazole when I was treated.

It may be that the infection hasn’t totally cleared or it may be that your infection is gone but your vagina is still irritated.
