I’ve been experiencing pain like a yeast infection ever since that seems to be getting worse every day. Is this normal hormonal side effects or could it really be a yeast infection and if so can I use the OTC remedy or is it too soon after birth? Help! Dr’s office is closed right now and I’m in a lot of pain.
Yeast infections during or right after child birth are very common.
You are correct that they are triggered by fluctuations in your hormonal levels. You can start by treating the infection with natural remedies until your doctor recommends an over the counter solution (if one is needed).

It could be an infection but as you have just had a major operation, I would get medical help as soon as possible. Go to your local hospital if you are worried.
